I'm a multidisciplinary visual artist and seasoned arts educator with over a decade of experience working with diverse learners, from children to adults, in inclusive, community-based environments. I’m passionate about creating student-centered spaces that merge critical thinking with hands-on exploration, helping people engage with fine art and art history in meaningful, transformative ways.
I hold an MFA from Emily Carr University of Art and Design, and I've also pursued formal training in Computer Science. While art and tech might seem like opposites, I see them as complementary languages. My creative work resides in the space between logic and emotion, where structured systems intersect with vibrant, expressive abstraction.
I specialize in acrylic and oil painting, though my background includes ceramics, printmaking, and drawing. My paintings often appear abstract at first glance, but they’re underpinned by mathematical patterns, algorithmic forms, and scientific references. Through this blend of precision and play, I aim to create work that’s not only visually compelling but also invites viewers to slow down, look deeper, and uncover hidden layers of meaning.
Ultimately, I believe art should be both accessible and expansive, serving as a bridge between lived experience, imagination, and collective inquiry.
